Environment and certification

Considering the great amount of paper and packaging we turn over, environmental work is important. We are constantly working to lessen unnecessary waste. Since 2013 we are Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified, and we use climate compensated paper in 90% of everything we print.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is a world-renowned environmental certification with great expertise and credibility which sets high standards for printing material, chemicals, and energy use. The environmental work and engagement needed to meet the standards of a Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification helps us contribute to the global sustainability goals of the UN.

Read more about the standards on The Nordic Swan Ecolabel website.

FTI (The Packaging Collection Service)

The Packaging Collection Service, FTI (Förpackningsinsamlingen), is a company within the recycling business which makes sure packaging materials in Sweden are collected and recycled. The collection system is financed by, among other sources, the packaging fees companies pay.

Through our cooperation with FTI we fulfill our statutory responsibility as a producer of packaging.

Everybody can contribute, and we have chosen to recycle the boxes in which we deliver your orders. If they are intact, it’s unnecessary to put them in the recycling bin, don’t you think? Send them back to us by the internal mail system. You don’t have to label them; the University postal system knows where to bring them.

Find out more at the FTI website.

Climate compensation in cooperation with our paper supplier Antalis

The climate compensation efforts have been ongoing for more than 10 years. We have learned a lot and feel that we are doing something positive. The money generated by the project is sent to different tree planting projects in Africa, for example in Uganda. Together with our Nordic customers we have planted trees on an area equivalent to 235 football fields.
